Obituary of Dianne Lee Felsing

FELSING, Dianne Lee of Saginaw went home to be with her Lord and Savior with her family by her side on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. She was 87 years old. Dianne Lee Walderzak was born November 8, 1932 in Saginaw to the late Charles and Anita (Bates) Walderzak. She married her sweetheart, Peter Felsing, on January 19, 1951 in Saginaw. Dianne attended Saginaw High, graduating in 1950. She was employed by St. Luke's Hospital as an office administrator, retiring after 32 years of service. Dianne was a faithful and active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church for many years. She was a very active person who loved to be on the go. Some of the things that kept her busy were shopping trips, girls' week on Torch Lake, watching the Detroit Tigers and Michigan Football. What Dianne really loved most was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of more than 68 years, Peter Felsing; children, Steven (his dear friend, Roxanne), Karen Jurek and Cathy Felsing; grandchildren, Brent (Melissa) Felsing, Reid (Sarah) Felsing and Jamie (Jason) Atkinson; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Anderson, Luke, Maxwell, Theo and Victor; as well as her aunt and best friend, Patricia Stapleton. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Walderzak and Anita (Theron) Fox; daughter-in-law, Linda Felsing. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the oncology staff at Covenant Harrison 7 Main for their amazing and dedicated care. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, MI 48603. Pastor David Naumann will officiate. Private committal service to follow at Richland Township Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
