Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, January 14, 2026. She was 81 years old.

Jean Marie Seaver was born on January 25, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Raymond and Maxine (Turner) Seaver. She married Daniel L. Lazzaro on October 2, 1965, in Saginaw, and together they shared many loving years of marriage.

Jean was a wonderful baker who especially enjoyed making cookies and cupcakes. She generously shared her talents by baking for fundraisers, particularly supporting K9 Hero Guardians. Jean will be remembered for her selfless nature, always putting others before herself, her knack for finding the best deals at the store, and for never being one to complain. Above all, Jean cherished spending time with her family and friends, which brought her the greatest joy.

Surviving is her loving husband, Daniel L. Lazzaro; one daughter, Sharon (James) Maher; grandchildren, Nicolette, Nicholas, and Erin; siblings, Donald Seaver and Janet Seaver; along with many nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Maxine Seaver; one daughter, Susan Lazzaro; and one brother, Raymond Earl Seaver.

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday from 09:00 a.m. until the time of service.

FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2026 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road, Saginaw, MI 40603. Pastor Rick Milks will officiate. Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Freeland.
