Alonzo Victor Salinas, loving husband, father, grandfather, cousin, and friend, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Adira Skilled Nursing in Saginaw. He was 55 years old.

Alonzo was born on March 8, 1970, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Alonzo and Maria Salinas. He married the love of his life, Melissa Bruske, in 2012 in Bay City, Michigan. Alonzo was employed as a roofer, a trade he worked hard at throughout his life.

Alonzo enjoyed listening to all types of music and spending time playing video games. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his family. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his joking nature, and his contagious laughter. Alonzo deeply loved his wife and often said she was the sparkle in his eye.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Melissa Salinas; children, Maria (Wesley) Linzsey, Raymond Michael Lopez, Ryan Matthew Lopez, and Katarina Christine (Eric Anderson) Bermudez; grandchildren, Teresa Linzsey, Jayden Morse, Noah Pafford, Nova Lee Anderson, Brayden Terbush, Carson Terbush, Carson Miguel Garret,  Dominic Terbush, and Prince Anderson; special cousins, Fred Dukes and David Najar; along with extended family and many friends.

Alonzo was preceded in death by his loving mother, Maria Salinas.

In keeping with Alonzo’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
