Obituary of James H. Doran

James H. Doran, age 41, passed away after a long illness on Friday morning, December 12, 2025, at Stonecrest Assisted Living in Freeland.

James Henry Doran was born on May 7, 1984, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Melvin and Sherry (Zwerk) Doran. He attended Arthur Hill High School and was employed by Omni Warehouse as a parts sorter until his illness prevented him from continuing to work.

James enjoyed reading, playing video games, playing table top RPG games and spending time on his computer. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, which meant the most to him.

Surviving are his father, Melvin Doran; siblings, Tara Sykes, Sean Doran, Christopher Doran, and Cassandra Doran; grandmother, Sharron Fenn; his special cousin and best friend, Brad Doran Jr.; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Doran; his stepmother, Michelle Doran; his sister, Rachel Johnson; and his stepbrother, Tyler Mayotte.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
