Obituary of Diana M. Garcia-Canales

 

Diana Marie Garcia-Canales, age 54, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, November 20, 2025. The daughter of Maximiliano and Olivia (Loa) Garcia, Diana was born August 24, 1971, in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Jose Canales on September 16, 2019.

Diana enjoyed camping, biking, and singing with her sister, Gloria. She cared deeply for her fur babies. Diana loved her family, treasuring time spent with them. She will always be remembered for her love and care for others.

Diana is survived by her beloved husband, Jose Canales; loving mother, Olivia Garcia; dear siblings, Sandy (Steve) Rodriguez, Greg (Tilly) Garcia, Sylvia Herrera, Mary Lou (Gary) Garcia, Angie (Pedro) Castillo, and Gloria (Ricky) Levario; four adored fur babies; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Diana was preceded in death by her father, Maximiliano Garcia; and her niece, Angelina Castillo.

In keeping with Diana’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
