So sorry to hear of PJ's passing. He was a consistent joy to visit with and he made everyone feel important and at ease. His knack for spontaneous and informed insights made me look forward to each new interaction. His sense of humor, steady supply of almost curated factoids, passion for animals, and charm, brings a smile to me even now. The PJ I knew as an acquaintance and bartender was physically sturdy, handsome, and had the world by a string. His bright flashing, sometimes mischievous grin found all over his social networks well reflects the light hearted, tender souled person I knew.
I regret now not checking in with news of his recent baptism. I wish I had congratulated him to celebrate this milestone. We can never doubt the surety of the Great Hands now holding his soul. I believe we will meet again.
