Obituary of Mary Josephine Fiebke

Mary Josephine “ Mary Jo” Fiebke, age 79, of Saginaw, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at home while surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 21, 1945, to Adolpho Gonzalez and Frances (Cooper) Gonzalez in Saginaw, Michigan.

Mary Jo married Daniel Fiebke Jr., on February 16, 1980, in Saginaw, and they celebrated 45 years together. She worked at Meijer as a retail associate in the home fashion department for 22 years, where she made many life-long friends. Mary Jo enjoyed spending time with her family, either by having dinner together, shopping, or going to the casino. She was an avid football fan, enjoying the game when she could. Mary Jo loved to celebrate the holidays. She was known in the neighborhood as the “The Candy Lord” for Halloween, and loved decorating and having company over for Christmas.

Mary Jo is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel Fiebke, Jr.; loving children, Robert “Beau” (Kim) Breier, Randall “Randy” (Tina) Breier, and Richard “Rick” (Morgan) Breier; three grandsons, Daniel Breier, Austin Breier, and Cole Breier; several siblings, including a beloved sister, Rosemary Breen; special nieces, Lisa Pasheek, Julie Kastros-Ott, Janice Basile, and Caleen Murin.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Bob Gonzalez, Margaret Fobear, Marie Kastros, Ron Gonzalez, Jesse Gonzalez, Jimmy Gonzalez, and Tony Pignatelli.

Visitation will take place Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road, Saginaw, MI 48603. Pastor Donald Dennis will officiate.
