Armando moved to Saginaw with his family when he was a little boy, he attended Saginaw Schools and graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1985. Nuni attended Delta College, and worked at Long John Silvers. It was at the restaurant where he met Julie Cox and together, they were blessed with his first born daughter, Destani Gonzales. He moved to Texas in 1995, where he met and married, Marisol Martinez, and they were blessed with a daughter, Larissa Gonzales. Nuni returned to Saginaw in 1999 and worked at Nexteer for over 10 years. He spent many hours playing softball in a Hispanic League and hanging out with friends.
