HILDINGER, Marvin J., of Saginaw passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 86 years old. Marvin J. Hildinger was born September 28, 1924 to the late Clayton and Esther (Pretzlow) Hildinger. He married Laura Brenay on February 15, 1947 in Saginaw; she survives him. Marvin proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He worked as a Sheet Metal Tradesman for A.C. Klopf and JE Johnson. Marvin enjoyed woodworking in his shop, fishing, traveling and helping his neighbors. He truly loved his family and was proud to live a good long life. Marvin was also a member of the Moose Lodge 82. Surviving are his loving wife, Laura; a daughter and two sons: Diane Hayner of Austin, Texas, Rich (Jan) Hildinger of Essexville, Roger (Lisa) Hildinger of Chicago; five grandchildren: Jenny, John, Becky, Johanna, and Tyler; three great grand children: Zoe, Gracie and Kaya; and many extended family and friends. Following Marvin's wishes cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State).
