A notice to our families
The priority of Deisler Funeral Home is the safety, well-being and the health of families we serve and our staff. With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting us all, it is safe to say that we as a nation and community are living in unprecedented times and trying to navigate uncharted waters. We are doing our part to be proactive and taking steps to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
As of March 17, 2020, under Executive Order by the Governor, public gatherings of 50 or more are prohibited. Deisler Funeral Home is dedicated to serving our families and making sure, as we always do, that their loved one is honored, their life celebrated and that immediate and extended family as well as friends have the opportunity to participate in these ceremonies.
Due to the Executive Order by the Governor all visitations, funerals, and memorials services handled by Deisler Funeral Home will be limited to immediate family and extended family, not exceeding 50 people. However, by utilizing all available technology, we will be offering every family the option of remote attendance through online streaming of the ceremony, so people who can’t attend in person may still be part of the ceremony. As always our online website offers an online tribute wall where you are welcome to share your condolences, pictures and messages. Keep in mind your post will not appear automatically as all posts are monitored and approved before posting by our staff. You are also welcome to call our office at any time to have your name added to a guest book.
For those of you that are planning on attending a visitation or service at Deisler Funeral Home, please rest assured our facilities are well sanitized and clean for your safety as well as our own. At this time, we are not allowing any outside food or beverages.
Before attending a ceremony, if you feel ill in any way please stay at home. As supplies allow, we will have hand sanitizer available throughout the funeral home and will take precautions to keep our facilities cleaned and sanitized while you and your families are here. Also be aware we will be practicing social distancing protocols in the seating arrangements at ceremonies.
Again, Deisler Funeral Home and staff are dedicated to keeping our families and staff safe during this difficult time. If you should have any additional concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
